Isn't this the cutest cake ever! My sister's friend made it for my mom. Wish we coulda been there to help eat it! By the way, "Nano" is what the grand kids cal my mom...long story!
That cake is adorable. I have not seen your mom in forever. I just read your last post and I think about Granny and Grumpy all the time. In fact, a few weeks ago I was thinking about Pancho's and that stupid little flag. I miss them so much. I will never forget the memories with them. All the sleepovers we would have on that uncomfortable pull-out couch. I remember when we were outside and Jenny comes running inside screaming that there were ants in her pants. She stripped down to her scivies so fast and hopped into the shower. I remember that note you and Rachel wrote about Grumpy about his dirty, yellow pajamas that you hid under the couch. You guys were mad at him for something. I remember always fighting over that ugly little baby doll. I remember Granny's funny laugh as she would squint her eyes. I can still smell Granny's yummy corn beef and cabbage and I still remember the day Grumpy passed away and watching him give Granny a blessing. I remeber feeling the spirit so strongly. I remember you and I spent the next few days together after Grumpy's death and I went with you to Mcarthur to get your homework that you missed. They were such great examples and I miss them so much. I am sad that my kids won't get to know them on this earth.
We for sure need to get together and who says we have to grow up. I am still an immature little kid. We actually have the farming game, but we haven't played it in a long time. Just not the same ya know. If you are going to be in town for Thanksgiving then you should come to the Shell/Jolley Thanksgiving. Beth, Tyler, and Mike are all coming this year. I miss you! Tell your mom I said hi
Andy is working as a Physical Therapist and I'm working as a Physican Assistant. Needless to say we have some pretty interesting conversations at the dinner table! We welcomed our sweet baby boy, Drew on October 20, 2011. We are excited for this next chapter in our lives and all the adventure it holds!
